Glendown wins at Pontefract

The Tim Easterby trained 4 year old was seeking his first win of the season and was ridden by Duran Fentiman for the 10 runner handicap over 5 furlongs.

He was sluggish from the stalls and Duran was forced to sit out the back in the first couple of furlongs. Duran showed great patience and when the gaps appeared late on, Glendown picked up in good style to win by 3/4 of a length.

A big well done to his patient owners and all the staff at Tim’s on a well deserved success.
