We’re delighted to welcome Alan to the Ontoawinner training team.

Since being granted his trainer’s licence in 2005, Alan has built his operation around two key principles: providing the highest possible standard of care for every horse in his stable, and making racehorse ownership an exciting, enjoyable and rewarding experience.

With more than 150 winners to his name, Alan has established a strong reputation for getting the best from his horses while providing owners with a first-class experience both on and off the racecourse.

In October 2021, Alan’s son Matthew joined the team as Assistant Trainer, and the pair have continued to build on the yard’s success. They recorded 15 winners from 128 individual runners the following year before enjoying their best season to date in 2023, when the yard sent out 27 winners at an impressive 16% strike rate.

We’re really pleased to have Alan and Matthew involved with Ontoawinner and look forward to plenty of winners and great days out togethe
