Paddy’s Day wins at Newcastle
Paddy’s Day won nicely at Newcastle last night under talented apprentice Alex Jary. Competing in a 5-furlong handicap race, the Nigel Tinkler-trained 3-year-old started from stall 6 in a field of 10 runners.
Right from the outset, the field gravitated towards the near side of the course. Alex guided Paddy to a handy position, settling in third place for the first half of the race. Paddy travelled very well throughout the race and surged into the lead at the one-furlong marker, ultimately winning by a length under the guidance of the promising apprentice jockey.
A big well done to the horse’s owners, as well as for Alex, Nigel, and the entire Tinkler yard.
We have been busy at the recent sales and we have shares available in a couple of lovely horses, check them out below.
